Ever-Newer Paramedical Career Pathways

The French Beauty Academy has announced its new Advanced Diploma of Dermal Science and Therapies 10167NAT Program.

Beginning next month, this cutting-edge program is a chance for those with a passion for dermal treatments and advanced skin therapies to further their studies in the expanding medi-spa space and the rapidly evolving world of cosmeceuticals and advanced aesthetic treatments.

“As the first Academy to deliver an Advanced Diploma in Australia in 1999, we have continued to revolutionse education and produce graduates who possess the highest standards of currency and industry readiness,” says director Sherelle French.

“For more than 30 years, we have a strong history of excellence in education with past graduates going on to own their own clinics, and work alongside leading cosmetic surgeons and physicians.

“As the demand for medi-spa specialists grows exponentially, so does our commitment to delivering the most cutting-edge educational framework in this industry and ensuring students of The French are industry-ready.

“As you know, this exciting profession offers vast career potential for graduates who are trained in the new scientific advancements, for jobs that never previously existed.

“The newly written curriculum has been meticulously developed to ensure these new technologies and treatments are included in the course so graduates are industry ready.

“What sets this program apart is the 70 percent of practical clinical training included in the course. This gives students unparalleled hands-on experience to ensure they are industry ready.

“Learning from our expert educators – those who have worked alongside leading cosmetic surgeons and physicians, doctors, cosmetic nurses and in various med-spas, students get real life clinic experience and practice in delivering the latest advanced treatments … fat cavitation technology, laser and light therapies, skin needling for rejuvenation and analysing complex skin conditions are some highlights.

“Additionally, students are taught business subjects in the management of medi-spas including staff management and leadership.

“The prerequisite for acceptance into the Advanced Diploma of Dermal Science and Therapies is a Diploma of Beauty Therapy or a nursing qualification. However, places are exclusive and interested applicants undertake a rigorous interview process.

FBA LOGO“I am excited to see the impact this program has and as a valued partner of The Academy, I look forward to hearing your feedback on both the program and the graduates as together we may continue to nurture and inspire greatness within this amazing industry.”
