One of Australia’s leading cosmetic brow artist, Suzie Mcintosh, will soon reopen the doors of her luxury Melbourne salon in Toorak, after disastrous Victorian flooding forced a long and arduous 6-month refurbishment.
When freak floods and golf ball-sized hail slammed Melbourne during December last year, the Suzie Mcintosh Brows clinic was hit hard and sadly forced to immediately close indefinitely, after the roof collapsed one morning just minutes before staff were about to begin treating clients.
This was particularly distressing for Suzie at the time, as she had only just relocated to Sydney two weeks prior hoping to kick start her plans of opening a second brow clinic in Sydney. “I will never forget the messages and photos coming through to my phone, I was in the middle of a training session and was completely devastated by what I was seeing unfold,” said Suzie.
“The next minute, it was all over the news, and I remember thinking ‘how will we ever recover from this!?’ It was an absolute disaster in its finest form.”
After the destruction of her salon, All of Suzie’s big plans for a Sydney location were immediately halted, jetting back to Melbourne to oversee the extensive renovation process that ended up lasting over 5 months, determined to see her business reopen even more impressive and luxurious than it was before.
“After what was a drastic end to 2018, I cannot tell you how relieved and ecstatic I am to finally be back in operation in Toorak after operating out of a temporary office space for the past 5 months.”
Specialising in cosmetic tattooing and brow styling, Suzie Mcintosh opened her namesake salon in Toorak halfway through 2017. She and her team had grown from strength to strength over the years, out-growing three locations over as many years. She has since established herself as a leader in the cosmetic brow tattooing field, building a list of celebrity and high-profile clients along the way, including international clients from the US, London, Europe, Dubai, Singapore, New Zealand and Tokyo.
