What Will The Non-Surgical Symposium 2.0 – Reimagined Look Like?

The Non-Surgical Symposium is back again this year, but like most events in the industry, not as we usually know it.

The two-day symposium, which was initially scheduled to take place on the Gold Coast in June, will instead be held virtually on the 28th – 29th November from the comfort of wherever you find yourself right now.

The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) invites practitioners, nurses and practice staff working in the aesthetic medicine industry to tune into Non-Surgical Symposium 2.0 – Reimagined to learn about the latest and greatest the field has to offer.

Last year’s event sold out Sydney’s ICC and was labelled a soaring success by those who attended. While organisers understand this year’s instalment will have a different format, NSS Program Convenor Naveen Somia is confident it’s the most dynamic symposium to date.

“2020 sees the most dynamic symposium to date, with an array of leading global experts coming together to deliver an informative, interactive and once in a lifetime experience on state of the art concepts, equipment and new practice in this arena,” Somia said.

Guests will be able to choose from two streams of content which cover topics spanning from mastering the periorbital area to the latest advancements in hair restoration. Speakers include a range of globally renowned plastic surgeons, cosmetic physicians, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, nurse aestheticians and dermal therapists.

There will also be virtual networking drinks on Saturday evening for those wanting to share a drink, network within the industry and reconnect with colleagues. This is an element which was sorely missed this year, and one we’re happy to see come to fruition in some form.

The NSS is also an excellent opportunity to earn those extra CPD points before the end of the year. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance which can be used as supporting documentation when submitting the claim.
