Increase your Brisbane Beauty Footprint

An even bigger Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo returns July 2016.

Returning for a second year, the 2016 Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo — Brisbane’s only hair and beauty trade show — will be held on Sunday 17th & Monday 18th July at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

With 5,000+ visitors expected in 2016, the Expo will see a number of exciting new features including a 30 per cent increase in exhibitor space and a new addition to its Extended Education Program with the inclusion of a one-day Medi-Conference for anyone considering expanding or transforming their beauty salon to include paramedical services.

“The 2016 Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo delivers an invaluable opportunity for beauty brands to be on show to thousands of beauty professionals who are all actively looking for new inspiration, solutions, products and more,” says event director, Jason Greenhalgh.

Brisbane-Expo STORY“It’s a prime occasion to get your brand in the forefront of your customer’s minds, showcase your range to your direct market, and stimulate future sales,” he adds.

Tamara Eacott, director of Green Living Cosmetics (exclusive distributor of Eminence Organic Skin Care) says she will return to the show in 2016 based on her positive experience from the inaugural show.

“While it was a smaller show than we anticipated, the energy and crowd participation was better and more positive than most larger shows we have attended in other states in previous years. It’s time for Brisbane to have its own successful show for our industries and this show is a great platform to achieve this!”

After resounding success at the inaugural event, crowd favourites including the Be(you)tiful Bar, Champagne Lounge and the live Hair Competitions and Nail Competitions will also form part of the 2016 line-up, in addition to industry favourites such as Rae Morris, Julie Piantadosi, Jazz Pampling and Lorna Evans.

“Last year’s expo was a surprise package for LaGlam Minerals! Queensland beauty insiders showed so much love for LaGlam Minerals and we established quality stockists who are now also reaping the benefits of retailing our range in their businesses,” says Amanda La Monica, founder and creator of La Glam Minerals.

“LaGlam Minerals is a perfect fit for the Queensland market. Clients love our sweat and water resistant foundation in the hot, humid climate. It’s a match made in heaven!”

Almost 60 per cent of sites at the 2016 Expo are already sold; any brands looking to exhibit at this event are encouraged to make a booking or enquiry sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment, as sites are expected to sell out fast.

Brisbane-Expo STORY 2“With our head office in Queensland the Brisbane Hair & Beauty Expo is an event Spectrum are excited to attend each year. Our team love catching up with our customers face to face and the opportunity to continually understand their business and how we can provide further support to drive their success,” says Spectrum Science & Beauty managing director, Ben Skeggs.

“We are constantly listening to our customers and the expo is great event to listen and learn, to ensure we continually improve our product and service offering. It is also a great opportunity to network with everyone in the industry and highlight our point of difference.”

Tickets to the Expo will be available for purchase online in February 2016, as well as bookings for the Extended Education Program, and entries for the Hair and Nail Competitions.
