What Happened At iS Clinical’s Platinum Circle Retreat

The second annual event hosted by iS Clinical ANZ and High Tech Medical, celebrating Platinum Circle members.

iS Clinical recently held its 2024 Platinum Circle Retreat in the heart of the ancient Daintree Forest. The second of its kind to be held by iS Clinical ANZ distributors, High Tech Medical, the retreat celebrates Platinum Circle members, recognising their achievements and commitment to the brand.

The retreat, a 3-night escape to the luxurious Silky Oaks Lodge, provided a space of luxury, nature and camaraderie among colleagues. The theme was based on embracing Aboriginal culture, symbolic of iS Clinical’s use of certain ingredients in formulations, like the Kakadu Plum, which can only be found in Australia and has a connection to Aboriginal culture.

Guests enjoyed a carefully curated itinerary which included immersive activities in the stunning surrounds of the Daintree National Park including an Aboriginal guided walk tour around Mosman Gorge learning about medicinal plants, animals, ochres and body painting as well as an Aboriginal Art Workshop and Smoking Ceremony. There were also daily yoga sessions, spa treatments, as well as lavish dining experiences.

The guest list included 21 guests from the 10 clinics that make up the Platinum Circle, the High Tech Medical team and the internationally-renowned Dr Charlene DeHaven, Clinical Director, iS Clinical, and aesthetic and anti-ageing expert, Dr Tahl Humes, Medical Director, Vitahl Medical Aesthetics.

Guests were treated to insightful presentations by both Dr DeHaven and Dr Humes in an intimate setting that inspired engaging Q&A sessions and the opportunity to delve deeper into topics of interest.

The morning presentations by Dr Charlene DeHaven covered:

  • Extremozymes: exploring how gene activation can influence skin condition and longevity, focusing on the role of Extremozymes and high-quality botanical actives like Vitamin C.
  • Telomere shortening: investigating the implications of telomere shortening and recommending beneficial combination therapies endorsed by iS Clinical.
  • Pigmentation pathways and treatment approaches: covering various pigmentation pathways and effective treatments for different types of pigment-related issues.

The afternoon presentations by Dr. Tahl Humes entailed:

  • Facial rejuvenation techniques with combination therapy: discussing the benefits of combination therapy (devices and iS Clinical Skincare) in achieving optimal results for facial rejuvenation.

To celebrate the achievements of participating clinics, the retreat concluded with the iS Clinical Award Night whereby guests received a trophy, certificate and gifts from Australian brands including a Viktoria and Woods scarf for clinic owners and managers, and Frank Green Coffee cups for clinic staff.

Dr DeHaven and Dr Humes were also presented with an original Aboriginal work of art.
