Spa+Clinic Team The Global.Synergy competition is the brainchild of Emiliano Vitale, in association with SALON, the AHC and Youthworxm which is giving one lucky young hairdresser an opportunity of a lifetime.
If you are a stylist who works for an AHC member salon, or holds an AHC Youthworx Individual Membership, with 1-6 years qualified hairdressing experience (no apprentices or anyone with over 6 years’ experience), you are eligible to enter with the chance to win a career-inspiring opportunity to assist the internationally acclaimed SALON Creative Team at the Alternative Hair Show in London on Sunday 13 October 2013.
From rehearsals to prepping models, to networking with industry experts and international press opportunities, you can be a part of the SALON team as they bring their Alternative Hair Show showcase to life.
According to Sandy Chong, CEO & AHC Chair, ‘the Australian Hairdressing Council is proud to support the Global.Synergy initiative with Emiliano Vitale, giving a young stylist the chance to work with him at the Alternative Hair Show in London which is truly a once in a lifetime experience.’
Taking place at the esteemed Royal Albert Hall, the 31st Alternative Hair Show’s theme is ENIGMA, which invites participating teams to explore their artistry as they create perplexing and puzzling conundrums of hairdressing creativity.
This year, in their 4th invitational appearance at the Alternative Hair Show Emiliano Vitale and the SALON team will present their own interpretation of ENIGMA.

All you have to do is meet the above criteria then submit a 2-minute video to Emiliano Vitale, outlining why you want to win. Easy!
How to Enter

‘ A brief bio on yourself
‘ Imagery from collections & portfolio
‘ Reasons why you believe you should be chosen
‘ How you intend to share your experience with your peers
All entries must be sent to emiliano@esalon.com.au and received by July 31, 2013 with judging to take place on August 5 and then the announcement of the 6 Finalists drawn from WA, SA+NT, NSW+ACT, QLD, VIC, TAS.
State Winners will be flown to Sydney on Saturday 14 September, to be mentored by Emiliano, Sandy Chong, Leesa Smith and Matt Clements and a selection of Youthworx stars, including Lisa Muscat, Maria Unali, Jordan Hone & Sam Overton, on Sunday 15 September.
Finalists will be observed by the judges over the weekend and the winner will be announced on Monday 16 September in Sydney at an AHC Youthworx show.
Prize Dates: Winner will need to be free to travel between 9 October – 14 October 2013.
