BREAKING: The Non-Surgical Symposium Has Been Postponed

Mark June 2022 in your calendars.

It’s a week of not-so-great news for the beauty and aesthetics industry. After Beauty Expo announced its cancellation earlier this week, another highly anticipated industry conference has fallen victim to ongoing lockdowns and border closures: The Non-Surgical Symposium.

The NSS was due to be held on the Gold Coast on November 19, 2021, and will now take place on June 3-5, 2022. Read the full statement from Dr Rob Sheen, ASAPS President, and Dr Naveen Somia, NSS Scientific Convenor below:

“As your safety is our biggest priority, the NSS due to take place this November has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns and border closures. The NSS will now take place 3-5 June 2022, at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.

With the vast majority of attendees planning to visit the event in person this year, a large number of those would likely have been impacted by the restrictions currently in place in Australia and New Zealand.

While last year’s digital event was a great success, we feel that shifting our focus to an in person affair in 2022 is the best way to deliver the NSS, and our renowned excellence in education, to the highest standard possible.

We push forward with great optimism and confidence that our industry will be reunited next year, both in-person and virtually. Next year’s NSS will be even bigger and better than ever before, and we will have a lot to celebrate.

We look forward to welcoming you to the sunny Gold Coast in June next year.”
