Catch Up On This Year’s Annual Babor Symposium

Want to know what BABOR will be getting up to this year?

BABOR Australia hosted their two-day annual 2020 Business Symposium this week at the Park Hyatt Sydney, where BABOR partners from across Australia had the opportunity to experience a spectacular harbour-front view as they delved into all things BABOR. The key focus was the 2020 BABOR marketing plan and the new DOCTOR BABOR Brightening Intense & ReVersive ranges.

Day one started out with a look-back at last year’s initiatives, events and achievements for the brand, including donations to the incredibly successful Kristin Fisher Market, and the unveiling of BABOR’s first Australian concept stores (for more details, make sure you’re subscribed to receive our February print issue!) This was followed by an introduction into new product ranges launching in 2020, market trends, and BABOR’s special guest and international educator Heather Stockley giving an in-depth presentation of the new Reversive and Brightening Intense ranges.

ReVersive has been revamped for the new year, with new hero ingredients – Alba Rose Stem Cell Extract; for its antioxidant effect and ability to restore an even, radiant complexion, and Epocyl; which evens out irregularities and rapidly plumps the appearance of wrinkles. The new ReVersive range also has a new packaging concept, and now comes free from foil, with the objective of reducing plastic waste.

As for the new DOCTOR BABOR BRIGHTENING INTENSE range, this will offer effective solutions for a brighter and more even complexion, with active ingredients to even and brighten up the overall skin tone, fade hyperpigmentation, and combat inflammation.

Other new product launches announced included the Seasonal Chinese New Year Ampoules (in stunning gold casing) new Easter egg concept with marbled design, BABOR’s latest ampoules (Stress Control & Pollution Protect) BABOR Cleansing gift sets and Ampoule Concentrate Sheet Masks.

At day one’s conclusion, guests departed with some special BABOR goodies, including a pouch of Kangaroo Paw seedlings to grow, in recognition of BABOR’s sustainability movement and in honour of giving back to the environment.

Day two was dedicated to education, with Heather giving a technical and prescriptive workshop on Brightening Intense and how to prescribe treatments, products and regimes based on pigmentation, as well as several other group workshop engagement and activities. As always, the two-day education summit was finished off with a spectacular dinner and stockist awards ceremony, this year hosted at Ventuno Restaurant in Walsh Bay, giving BABOR stockists a chance to let their hair down, commemorate last year’s achievements, and look forward to a successful 2020 to come.
