Advanced Cosmeceuticals has recently welcomed their latest clinical trainer Daisy Lucas into their team, and we sat down with Daisy to learn about her journey and thoughts on Advanced Cosmeceuticals as an employer.
Your journey to this role must have been incredible. Can you share a bit about your background and the path that led you to becoming a Clinical Trainer?
My journey to becoming a Clinical Trainer has been a blend of hands-on experience and a passion for educating others. I entered the beauty industry straight after leaving school, and that decision has led me down an amazing career path. I’ve had the privilege of working with celebrities and at world-renowned spas and clinics across the UK and Australia. Since joining Advanced Cosmeceuticals (AC) over 4 years ago, I’ve experienced incredible career growth and opportunities.

Over the years, I’ve transitioned into roles that have allowed me to share my knowledge and expertise, which sparked my interest in training. I’ve always been a firm believer that empowering others through education leads to better client outcomes and more confident skin therapists.
Having worked with DMK for four years, I’ve transitioned into a more advanced training role with our other leading brands at Advanced Cosmeceuticals. I’m now thrilled to be in a position where I can make an even larger impact on the industry.
With such a diverse portfolio – Medik8, Mesoestetic, Vivology, and DMK – how do you approach training to ensure each brand’s unique philosophy and benefits are effectively communicated?
Each brand we have at Advanced Cosmeceuticals has its own distinct approach and philosophy, and that’s something I truly embrace when training. I start by fully understanding each brand’s core values and how their products and treatments stand out in the market.
I tailor each training session to reflect the unique attributes of the brand and ensure that skin therapists understand the philosophy and how it aligns with their goals and clients’ needs. When they truly grasp this, it’s easier for them to successfully integrate it into their practice and provide exceptional results.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity for clinics and practitioners working with the AC portfolio, and how will your role support them in achieving success?
The biggest opportunity for clinics and practitioners working with the AC portfolio lies in the ability to offer truly holistic skin health solutions. How do you plan to balance the demands of training across multiple ranges while keeping up with the latest innovations and trends in aesthetics?
