Focus Dual is a unique device in the Australian Market offering 2 high revenue treatment modalities in one convenient and attractive device. The Focus Dual combines both Fractional Microneedling RF + HIFU to help achieve non-surgical facelifting and remodelling for both the face and body.
Fractional Microneedling with Radio Frequency
Not just your regular Skin Needling! Super charge your Skin Needling with the addition of Radio Frequency. Focus Dual Microneedling uses a stamping method whilst utilising a vacuum, to ensure even penetration of needles across the treatment area. Ideal for remodelling post acne and post-surgical scarring, refining ageing skin, improving stretch marks and other imperfections on the face and body.
Focus Dual also offers both insulated and non-insulated needles. Insulated are ideal for clients with a darker Fitzpatrick or a tendency to melasma, they ensure the RF energy is only emitted through the needle tip, to bypass the melanocytes and avoid triggering further inflammation and pigment; non-insulated for most other skins as this will emit RF energy through the whole length of the needle, leading to faster results and remodelling through the whole depth being treated. Offering versatile and fully adjustable needle depth, 25 pin disposable needles, for a safe, hygienic and results-driven treatment.
HIFU – High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
HIFU delivers a controlled thermal injury, to a targeted depth, using a combination of 1.5, 3 and 4.5mm cartridges for the face and deeper cartridges for the body. The SMAS layer is immediately contracted, giving a “non-surgical facelift”.
Collagen and elastin expression, collagen fibre accumulation and elastin fibre density are increased. The end result being – remodelled tissue from deep in the SMAS right up to the superficial epidermis.
Focus Dual comes with 3 HIFU cartridges:
- 1.5mm – for superficial skin tightening
- 3mm – for collagen stimulation (if joules are turned higher, this can also do fat melting, i.e for double chin), this cartridge can also be omitted from treatment if a client has significant hollowing.
- 4.5mm – targets the SMAS (this is what surgeons cut and tighten during a deep plane face lift), this gives an instant lift as the HIFU energy tightens muscle fibres
There are 2 optional body cartridges available
- 6mm – moderate subcutaneous tissue
- 13mm – deeper, stubborn subcutaneous tissue
Areas that can be treated include full face, neck, double chin, brow lift, fat pockets on the body, skin laxity on face and body; great for post-pregnancy tissue contraction on the tummy, while RF Microneedling can help address any stretch marks or caesarean scaring.
