Jessica Turner Until recently, Babor’s Deep Pore Cleansing Mask was solely for professional use. But now, the German beauty brand have released a smaller-size retail version.
Touted as a “2 in 1” product, this mask not only cleanses, it doubles as a gentle peel, refining the surface of the skin.
Packed with ingredients suited to oily, blemish prone skin, it contains salicylic acid that opens the pores while preventing impurities, while Kaolin has a mattifying effect. It’s also infused with vitamin B5, which regenerates the skin barrier.
Apply a thick layer to pre-cleansed skin and leave for 5-10 minutes. After the mask has dried, moisten fingers and use circling movements to work up a lather, exfoliating the skin. Rinse off with warm water and use once or twice per week.
