Dramatic lighting and music and a silver-foiled catwalk created an atmosphere of a 1970s disco girl brought into the 21st century for WatsonXWatson Daywalker Spring Summer 15 collection at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week.
The style: Blue on blue, layer upon layer of a patchwork of mixed prints from the same colour palette.
The look: Easy tailoring; jackets with karate-style belts, leather shorts, jumpsuits and tailored crop tops.
Faby Save It For the Drive In and The Milky Way for WatsonXWatson
Nails by Faby were a ‘nautical disco’ theme; a deep navy blue, Save It For the Drive In, with a wave of glitter over the top, The Milky Way.
Daniel Avakian’s first solo show feattured long, flowing, figure hugging dresses and sleek skirts, combined with tailored tops in solid block colours, coupled with jaunty black and white striped fabrics.
Nails by Faby were fresh and understated with a neutral matte tone, Desert Rose; a nude that is not too pink, too yellow or too grey.
