Using the ageing preventative principles of cryotherapy*, Vanessa Megan – Australian award-winning creator of an eponymous advanced organic skincare range – has launched the world first Cryo Facelift Ice Cube Treatment.
These ice-cold serum applications incorporate active ingredients (including the certified organic and scientifically proven anti-ageing extract narcissus tazetta bulb, as well as uber-hydrator hyaluronic acid) to help repair, regenerate, brighten and hydrate the skin, while stimulating the epidermis on face, neck and décolletage.
Other active ingredients include:
- Gotu kola extract, rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids and known to stimulate new cell growth and build collagen.
- Quandong/wild peach; a native Australian super food and extract. It contains more vitamin C than an orange.
- Ginseng; known to increase the production of collagen in the middle layer of the skin (dermis), making skin firmer.
- Green coffee seeds: These have antioxidant, smoothing, restructuring and regenerating qualities.
There are six “ice cube trays” in each box. Ideally used once or twice a week, the trays should be put in the freezer before use.
Then remove the foil cover of an “ice cube”, press it into the muslin cloth provided and then apply to face, neck and dec in a circular motion until it has melted.
Vanessa Megan Gray is the founder and director of Vanessa Megan skincare. The products were borne of her best friend’s phrase: “You should never put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t eat”.
- The use of extreme cold in surgery or other medical, or cosmedical treatment.
