One of many recent additions to the flurry of wellness centres popping up around the country, Sydney has just introduced its latest addition to its high-end Rosebery business district.
La Porte Space, luxury creative space and iconic Sydney building, has just welcomed a brand new wellness sector into its ranks; La Porte Wellness, which brings together a collective of extravagant wellness, beauty and fitness solutions under one very stylish roof.
Alongside the pre-existing La Porte cafe, La Porte Marché (retail space), three event spaces and photography studios, and 30 serviced offices, the new Wellness zone now incorporates a yoga and pilates studio, Infrared Sauna, expert workshops and classes, custom-designed wellness menu, and some new beauty residents and flagship stores.
In keeping with its current façade, new areas are architecturally-designed, modern, minimalistic, and of course, decadent. Think black and white tiles, timber, marble, white linen and lush greenery.
The fitness studio hosts both reformer and mat pilates, plus yoga sessions, in a sleek, Scandi-luxe style space, operating daily (weekday) classes. Private and corporate sessions are also available.
Newly launched ‘Wellness Collective’ also introduces a select group of leading personal trainers, boxing specialist, kinesiologist, healing masseuse, and meditation teachers, that will be hosting regular boutique classes and workshops.
The new infrared sauna studio is indulgent and carefully considered, housing a Jacuzzi Infrared Sauna that boasts a wide range of colours to address multiple health and wellbeing concerns. These benefits are laid out in in-depth detail on instructional cards for clients to base their selection from throughout their sessions.
Aside from the impressive sauna itself, the studio is complete with large tiled shower facilities, brass finishes, plush towels, Dyson hairdryer, and crystal and marble décor. The room’s skin and hair brands on offer include Le Labo, Byredo and Ayu. According to La Porte Space, the studio aims to “provide a deep cleansing and healing experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and invigorated.”
Some new permanent residents are also making La Porte Wellness their new home, including the 10th flagship for skincare brand Rationale, as well as celebrity brow and lash artist Kristin Fisher opening her second high-end location to accompany her Double Bay salon.
The cafe even features a new wellness menu for its guests and permanent residents, designed by renowned plant-based chef and restauranteur, YOUENI.
The new innovations hope to not only encompass treatments for body, mind and spirit, but create a wellness revolution of like-minded brands coming together in one space, creating a synergy of luxury design and wellbeing that has not yet been experienced before.
All new facilities are now open and bookings can be made online at www.laportespace.com.au
