SILK Laser Clinics Sign Deal With BTL Aesthetics Australia

SILK Lasers Clinics move into the body treatment arena thanks to unprecedented partnership.

SILK Laser Clinics now offer BTL Aesthetics EmSculpt treatments, thanks to a partnership beginning from August 2020. This deal moves SILK Laser Clinics into the body treatment arena along with its existing laser hair removal, cosmetic injections, skin treatments and laser tattoo removal (South Australia only) services.

Founder and Managing Director of SILK Laser Clinics Martin Perelman says SILK is a market leader in providing effective and affordable cosmeceutical grade aesthetics treatments, but it must continually evaluate new devices.

“Non-invasive body contouring is one of the fastest-growing segments of the market, so we have been interested for quite some time in partnering with a market leader in this space to expand our offering to our existing customers, and to reach new customers,” Perelman said.

EmSculpt technology strengthens and defines muscles and disrupts fat cells delivering similar results to 20,000 sit-ups or 30 minutes of squats. The treatment is non-invasive and provides consistent results, with some users experiencing a 16 per cent increase in muscle mass and 4.4 cm decrease in thickness of the subcutaneous abdominal fat layer.

The EmScuplt devices are currently available in only 15 of the 53 clinics across Australia, but Perelman expects this number to grow based on how clients respond to the treatment. He is optimistic COVID-19 will not negatively impact the rollout based on a reoccurring shift in spending habits during recessions.

“History shows that people shift their spending to things that make them feel good during a recession.”

“I think COVID-19 has refocussed everyone’s attention on health and wellbeing. We have seen huge demand not only from people hoping to shift a little post-COVID weight but also from those who want to quickly strengthen up their cores and other muscle groups to help supercharge their results at the gym,” he said.

National Sales Director of BTL Aesthetics Australia Gareth Pepper is thrilled to partner with SILK Laser Clinics. He says interest for the treatment is gaining momentum not only in major cities but across regional areas too.

“This partnership has been in the pipeline for some time, and we are excited about the rollout,”  Pepper said.

“With many SILK Laser Clinics located in regional Australia, it makes EmScuplt more accessible for men and women to try.”

According to Mr Pepper, body treatments are the fastest growing area of Aesthetics with surveys showing a 88 per cent interest in supplementing fitness routines with non-invasive treatments. EmSculpt technology utilises patented HIFEM magnetic field energy and induces approximately 20,000 supramaximal muscle contractions, which cannot be achieved voluntarily, to help target hard-to-tone areas.

“Other devices exclude many potential patients, such as patients with less fat and patients lacking in muscle tone, but the EmScuplt really works for these patients,” Pepper explains.

“SILK’s mission is to deliver affordable treatments by utilising the best technology and the best people the market has to offer. BTL fits perfectly with our mission – their cutting edge technology is proven to deliver fantastic results, which at the end of the day is what we want to deliver to our customers,” Perelman concludes.
