Industry event calendars are getting back to full swing and a highlight in the line-up is the upcoming CUTERA University Clinical Forum.
CUTERA University promises to combine education with entertainment creating a unique experience for both their customers and the wider aesthetics community. You get insider knowledge on their devices, of course, but it’s their focus on what attendees can take away to support their own businesses after the event that makes CUCF a standout.
With speakers like Professor Greg Goodman keynoting and Dr Vic Ross zooming in from the USA, the two-day event, held at Melbourne’s luxurious new W Hotel, is shaping up to be one that’s not to be missed.
We spoke to Brett Elliott from CUTERA to get a taste of just what’s to come from this exciting event.
CUTERA University Clinical Forum (CUCF) is such a unique concept, what was the inspiration behind the event?
CUCF has come to fruition due to CUTERA actively listening to feedback from customers regarding the need for quality education and training in the aesthetics space. CUTERA is committed to being a leading company in medical aesthetics and continues to make a significant investment in CUCF each year to offer local customers the best opportunity to learn from experts, both local and international, across a variety of specialities.
CUTERA University is one way we can say thank you to our customers for their unwavering support and through CUCF we can offer something back. CUTERA is committed to supporting our customers post-sale as well as educating future customers on what the right system may be for their clinic so they can make fully informed decisions regarding their next investment in technology.
Education is clearly important to CUTERA, what is it about the event that traditional customer training methods can’t match up to?
Education is extremely important to CUTERA as it is a mechanism by which overall industry standards can continue to improve. The more clinicians and clinic staff are trained to a high standard, patient outcomes are enhanced which will translate to a positive effect on the reputation of the aesthetics industry.
CUTERA University offers customers exceptional access to global KOLs as well as a vast cross section of leading local clinicians in one weekend forum. It’s essentially a one-stop-shop to support our customers with highly valuable educational content that will support them in their future endeavours. It’s an opportunity to learn from peers, network with industry experts and enhance their ability to utilise systems they already own to their full potential. Or, tease out the information they need from experts to help them make a fully informed decision regarding what their next investment may be. Feedback from CUCF events continues to showcase that the meeting is highly valued by customers as we create a learning environment like no other.
You have an impressive line-up of speakers; can you tell us how you choose your panellists and what they offer?
We always try to provide a wide variety of speakers at CUTERA University so we can cater for the needs of as many of the audience as possible. Our panellists are chosen on the basis of how well respected they are in their field and whether they can add a unique and personalised perspective that will add value to the audience experience.
We are extremely fortunate to have engaged the support of a broad range of luminaries such as our Moderator, Prof Greg Goodman and Dr Vic Ross (US) along with many other speakers who are very well respected in their field. They’re keen to share their own story on how they incorporate CUTERA technology into their clinic to enhance patient outcomes and accelerate growth in their business.
The aesthetic industry is so broad. As such, CUTERA University covers a wide range of topics and caters for all levels of medical and professional expertise so there is value for anyone who attends from specialists to business owners and staff of all clinics.
What can attendees expect to experience at the event?
Attendees can expect to be both entertained and educated in an enjoyable learning environment with high quality educational sessions delivered in an interactive manner. They will be treated to in-depth discussions on how to improve their patient offerings, live demonstrations to support their techniques across laser and body systems plus have had the opportunity to ask questions of a wide range of world-renowned experts during panel discussions and social events.
Attendees can also expect to have a lot of fun as CUTERA University always strives to find the right balance between education and enjoyment with many people still talking about CUCF 2020 on the Gold Coast.
